Many good points in your comments.
My feeling as a professional photographer is that my duty is to deliver the shot regardless of the circumstances. And in *some* cases, a top quality full frame camera with pro glass is required to do so. So we're on the same page there.
My concern is the lack of innovation in the advanced enthusiast camera market, with practically all of the manufacturer's investment going into very expensive full frame cameras and glass that costs even more. I don't think it's a sustainable path for a shrinking pro market.
My hope is that once Sony, Canon, Nikon, and Panasonic are relatively comfortable with their FF offerings, they we bring some innovation to their ILC offerings. But I am not overly optimistic.
Thanks so much for contributing to the conversation.
