Hi Ian, those scenarios you mentioned are indeed the times when a full frame camera with pro lens make perfect sense. We do need that hardware at the pro level.

But at the same time, I think there's an opportunity being missed to make interchangable lens cameras smarter instead of relying so much on the brut force of physics to meet the scenarios that you described.

My personal bottom line is that I love ILC cameras and I want them to survive, not only at the pro level, but for enthusiastic amateurs as well. The direction I see in the marketplace is not comforting to me.
