Third Time’s a Charm — The Nikon Zf Review
A highly capable, classic, full-frame mirrorless camera

I’ve accumulated a few Nikons over the years that I really like. My black FG film camera takes great shots and is easy to pack. I have a D610 DSLR that accepts every lens in my modest collection, and even though I don’t use it often, I can’t seem to let go of it.
Then there are the optics that go with the cameras. I have the “Steve McCurry” 105mm f/2.5 telephoto, a Series E 35mm f/2.5, a 28mm f/2.8 D, a 50mm f/1.8 G, and a lovely 24–85mm G that I love. (There might be a few more too that I’m failing to mention…)
I’ve felt a little guilty for hanging on to this gear since my everyday cameras are the more compact varieties from Fujifilm and OM System. But now, thanks to the Nikon Zf, it’s looking like I had very good foresight.
The Nikon Zf Mirrorless, A Bridge Between Worlds
Much of the initial discussion about the full-frame mirrorless Zf has centered around its handsome retro styling. And rightly so. Nikon knows camera design, and when they put their minds to it, they can dazzle you. The Zf is one of those cameras.
